Character Designs, Logos & Illustration

This gallery is composed of freelance character design work, customized characters & logos and drawings for private clients, designs for personal projects as well as some fan art pieces in homage to the influences that have come before me. All of this work has been painted in acrylics or hand drawn starting with pencil, then going on to inks and some ending with Prismacolor markers and color pencil rendering. Additional digital enhancing are with some works though my use of computers is minimal.

I'm able to employ various illustration styles to customize work around my clients needs.

Concept Art for Graphic Novel Series

This gallery consists of character concept art that began nearly two decades ago. This graphic novel has been an extensive evolution over the years in order to keep the characters and themes fresh and original.

You'll see in this gallery the meta-morphosis of what has now become the final stages of the main character, creature, and technology designs that are now ready for the full-time production of the graphic novel pages that needs my exclusive focus. All the time and energy of nearly 20 years I've put into my world-building development has come to it's fruition for my full-time production.

Sculptural

This gallery is comprised of various different character sculptures. Some are for animatronical puppet heads, some are masks, and others are character maquettes both busts and full body sculptures.

These are all characters from my story project LOCUS - Archetype Implosion brought from 2D designs to 3 dimensional form.

Paintings

This gallery showcases my various different approaches to painting. This work shows the different styles, mediums and applications I employ.

There are both murals and paintings created on canvas. Everything from renditions of Vincent van Gogh's masterpieces as wall murals and animal motif murals to surreal & abstract works and portraiture painting.
